My deepest sympathies to all of Laura's family and friends. As I try to makes sense of this tragedy, a quote from Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias continues to come to mind, I would rather have 30 minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothing special. When I reflect on the heartfelt posts, loving tributes and joyful pictures of Laura surrounded by those she treasures with her mile-wide smile, it is clear that Laura packed in a lot of wonderful during those 44 years. I don't have the words to even begin to tell you how much you influenced my life. Thank you for being my friend and making me laugh all the time... Laura and I met sometime in the late 90's. We became fast friends, having so much in common, and spent much time together. It was one of the happiest times of my life. Laura's spirit had a way of drawing you in, making you laugh and loving life (just like her motto). I cannot believe she is gone. My heart grieves for all of us who will miss her. I met Laura quite a few years back and her and I hit it off. She was fun silly, had a strong constitution that she does not waiver from, a Love for her family that is Crazy, and a loyalty to her friends that is unstoppable, an inner light that draws people in. When she laughs she slaps her leg and claps till no sounds come out as she is trying to catch her breath. Lauras Love for others will stay with my family forever.. Her inner light and patience and positive energy will never leave me. I will miss her very much and I wish healing and Love to her Husband Danny and Children and her family. Heaven has gained an angel~ I feel so utterly blessed to be part of her short life..
