One year we decided to go to the Busch gardens tour ………..part of the tour was a gondola ride through the aviary. Sherry said, “I’m not going on that thing, we'll get stuck!” I said, “How could we get stuck with all of those people?” In the middle of the ride, the alarms started blaring and lights started flashing. The workers had to get into the water and push the boat to unstick us. All of that time, she was laughing and saying “Judy, I’m going to kill you!” We laughed for years about that.
I talked her into going down on the slides at Marineland. She said, “No I’ll get stuck!” I asked, “How can you get stuck on a slide?” Sure enough, she got stuck on the of the bumps and she had to skootch herself over the hump to get herself down the next part of the slide. She laughingly yelled, “Judy, I’m going to kill you!” Denny was taping the whole thing….and we laughed about that for years.
Sherry was quiet, she loved the drive-through donut store, and was always generous to me and Jerry. She was always put together, well dressed, hair, and make up just so.
