Grandma always said that her house was like a hotel - she had a “revolving door” because so many people stopped by or visited her over the years. My wife and I always cherished our visits with grandma and always appreciated her staying up to make sure we arrived safely, even if we were running a bit behind. I’m going to miss the trips up to spend the weekend with grandma, but I’m so grateful that we were close enough to make those trips. We love you, grandma. We miss you so much.

She was the consummate Mom! Not just to us, her children, but to anyone who's lucky enough to know her. From our friends to the neighborhood kids to anyone who crossed her path. She was kind to all and ready to take them under her wing and help or provide a soothing word or sage advice.
Also a very strong and hard working woman. As just one example, I vividdly remember her pushing and unloading wheelbarrows full of cement while we were installing a patio and then still having a full dinner ready for the entire family that evening. Or when I was working in a gas station and she would take time out to bring dinner after feeding Dad and the rest of the kids. She left no doubt that each of us were loved and continuously gave more of herself than she ever expected in return. She was the best Mom that I could ever have dreamed of and I will miss her always and will try to live up to the example that she set by the way she led her life!
"Love You More"

On July 22nd I lost my best friend, my mom. She was to me the most beautiful, strong caring woman in the world. I got the pleasure and privilege to live with her for the last seven and a half years. I'm sharing some of my favorite photos of her in her glory days. Not only was she beautiful, she was smart as a whip. How many 89 year old people are tech savvy? Her mind was quick and sharp. Her heart was big and she always had time for you if you needed her. I hope many of her family and friends will be able to come and celebrate her life with us at her memorial mass at St. Malachy's in Sterling Heights on September 22nd at 11am. Though I miss her every minute of every day, I know she is at peace in heaven with my Dad. My mom always said she wasn't very lucky but she was the luckiest person I know. She had a loving husband and six children who loved her dearly. Add to that the grandchildren and spouses of her children and nieces and nephews and her sisters etc. To have that much love in your life is the luckiest thing in the world. I remember going grocery shopping with her when I was little. I remember going to church with her. I remember all the good times and will cherish those memories with all my heart. LOVE AND MISS YOU MOM!

To my mother in Heaven, thank you for always loving, supporting and guiding me. Even though you are no longer here with me, I can still feel your love guiding me.
You were so right when you said, "Children Learn What They Live." Thank you for making our lives so enriched and wonderful. You were my teacher, my mentor, my beacon through the storms, my rock when I felt weak.
I miss our lunch times, I miss our after-work chats, our trips to shared doctor appointments and lunch afterwards. I miss our fun Saturdays together with Anna and Kenny, but most of all I miss you Mom. You will always be in my heart. I love you and miss you dearly.
Mother, you were and are my AMAZING MOM.

My Auntie Mary was always there for me. If I was going through bad times, she would call me or write me a letter to encourage me to stay strong. I loved her very much. I love my cousins as well and I'm sorry you lost your mom.

Mary is my Sister. More than that she is my Teacher and Best Friend. She taught me to be strong, have faith, always do a job the best you can and so much more. I will miss her. Blessings to her wonderful children. May your tears turn to smiles when you think of Mother Mary.
